Cash Offers
If you are fortunate enough
to be one of those rare individuals who are making a cash offer to purchase
a home, it would make good sense to provide some form of documentation along
with your offer that shows you readily have the funds available to you for
the purchase otherwise the seller may not take your offer seriously. A
current bank statement is usually sufficient but other documentation may
need to be provided. If you have to
liquidate stocks, bonds or some other type of assets first, then your offer should give a
timetable on when you will be able to provide proof you have successfully
converted those assets to cash so that the sale may proceed.
